Chris Okey sitting for Reds Sunday
The Cincinnati Reds did not list Chris Okey as a starter for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Okey will sit out Sunday's game, but projects to back up Aramis Garcia at catcher for the next few weeks with Tyler Stephenson (thumb) sidelined. Garcia will start at catcher in Sunday's game and bat ninth.
The rookie hasn't landed a hit in any of his four plate appearances so far this season, but did score his first professional run in yesterday's 4-5 loss to the Cardinals.
