Jonathan Villar joining Cubs' bench Friday afternoon
Chicago Cubs infielder/outfielder Jonathan Villar is not in the starting lineup for Friday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Charlie Morton and the Atlanta Braves.
Villar is taking a seat after starting the last five games and going 2-for-19 in that span. Patrick Wisdom is moving to the hot corner and hitting third while Frank Schwindel replaces Villar in the lineup to play first base and bat fifth.
Wisdom is currently numberFire's seventh-best point-per-dollar value among hitters on Friday. He has a $2,800 salary and our models project him for 14.6 FanDuel points.
