Avisail Garcia (hamstring) still out for Marlins' Game 1 Monday
Miami Marlins outfielder Avisail Garcia (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Glenn Otto and the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader.
Garcia remains out after he aggravated a hamstring injury on Saturday, and he will likely be unavailable for both games of Monday's twin-bill. The Marlins will start Jon Berti, JJ Bleday, and Jerar Encarnacion across the outfield in the first contest.
Bleday is currently numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among hitters for Monday's early single-game slate. He has a $5,000 salary and numberFire’s models project him for 10.3 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers’ implied total (3.63) is fourth-lowest out of the 16 active teams today.
