Jonah Heim joining Rangers' bench Friday
Texas Rangers catcher Jonah Heim is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Cody Morris and the Cleveland Guardians.
What It Means:
Kevin Plawecki, who the Rangers added on Thursday, will catch for Jon Gray and hit eighth. Heim and Sam Huff are both out of the lineup.
