TJ Friedl taking seat Wednesday for Reds
Cincinnati Reds outfielder TJ Friedl is not in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against left-hander Daniel Lynch and the Kansas City Royals.
The left-handed hitting Friedl will take a breather versus the Royals' southpaw. Jose Barrero will replace Friedl in center field and hit ninth. Kevin Newman will move into the leadoff role for the Reds.
numberFire’s models project Barrero ($2,400) for 6.7 and Newman ($2,700) for 10.5 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds' implied total is 4.46 and the game total is 9.0. Lynch has a career-best 4.41 ERA and a 4.17 SIERA this season. His 14.3% strikeout rate is also a personal-best and he's permitting a modest 0.55 home runs per nine innings.
