Braves place Sam Hilliard (heel) on 10-day IL
The Atlanta Braves placed outfielder Sam Hilliard on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right heel contusion.
What It Means:
Hilliard made a start on Tuesday and then left early after injuring his heel. Kevin Pillar could see more playing time while Hilliard is out. Eddie Rosario, who missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, will return to right field and hit seventh on Wednesday versus right-hander Ryne Nelson and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
