Carlos Correa sitting Wednesday afternoon for Twins
Minnesota Twins infielder Carlos Correa is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Reese Olson and the Detroit Tigers.
Correa is absent for the second time in three contests, but the Twins haven't said anything about an injury. The 28-year-old scored a run and extended his hitting streak to nine games on Tuesday. Kyle Farmer will cover shortstop and hit ninth in Wednesday's matinee. Jorge Polanco will hit second, followed by Max Kepler and Royce Lewis.
numberFire’s models project Farmer ($2,400) for 7.2 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.71 and the game total is 8.5. Olson has a 4.45 ERA and 4.78 xERA (bottom 25th percentile of MLB) this season, with a 38.4% hard-hit rate, 23.1% strikeout rate, and 6.4% walk rate.
