Rockies' Harold Castro on bench Tuesday
Colorado Rockies infielder Harold Castro is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Zack Littell and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Brendan Rodgers will reclaim second base from Castro and bat cleanup. Castro went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's series finale against the Chicago White Sox.
Littell has an elevated 4.70 xERA this season and one of the worst hard-hit rates in the majors among qualified pitchers. However, per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Rockies still have the second-lowest implied total on Tuesday (3.34) at pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field.
