Tyler Freeman sitting for Guardians Tuesday
Cleveland Guardians infielder Tyler Freeman is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against rookie right-hander Bobby Miller and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Freeman will return to the bench after covering third base in Sunday's series finale against the Detroit Tigers. Jose Ramirez will reclaim the hot corner while Oscar Gonzalez will shift to designated hitter and cleanup duty. Will Brennan will start in right field and hit seventh.
