Ke'Bryan Hayes resting Tuesday for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Ke'Bryan Hayes is not in the lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Pirates appear to be giving Hayes a maintenance day after he went 1-for-5 with a double and scored a run in Monday's series opener. Vinny Capra will cover first base and bat seventh on Tuesday. Ji Hwan Bae will take over as Pittsburgh's leadoff hitter.
