Harold Castro on Colorado bench Friday
Colorado Rockies infielder/outfielder Harold Castro is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Cole Irvin and the Baltimore Orioles.
Castro started in right field in Thursday's series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays and went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. Charlie Blackmon is moving to right field on Friday and Ryan McMahon is starting at designated hitter. Alan Trejo is starting on the hot corner and Ezequiel Tovar is taking responsibility for shortstop. Michael Toglia is absent again.
numberFire’s models project Blackmon ($2,600) for 10.1 FanDuel points on Friday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies' implied total is a deflated 3.75 and the game total is 9.0. Irvin has registered a 6.03 xERA this season that ranks in the bottom sixth percentile of the majors.
