Harold Ramirez absent for Rays Thursday afternoon
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Harold Ramirez is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Griffin Canning and the Los Angeles Angels.
Ramirez will sit after going 0-for-6 with a walk and 3 whiffs in the first two games of the series. Josh Lowe will replace Ramirez in right field and hit fifth. Randy Arozarena will stay in left and bat cleanup while Manuel Margot will man the middle. Brandon Lowe will hit second and Isaac Paredes will bat third on Thursday afternoon. Rays manager Kevin Cash said outfielder Luke Raley will miss some time with a neck issue.
numberFire’s models project Josh ($3,000) for 11.1 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays' implied total is 4.51 and the game total is 7.5. Canning has a solid 26.0% strikeout rate (top 70th percentile of league) and a 6.3% walk rate (top 80th) this season, but he does permit plenty of hard hits (bottom 14th).
