Jorge Polanco riding pine Thursday for Twins
Minnesota Twins infielder Jorge Polanco is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Medina and the Oakland Athletics.
Polanco will sit for the matinee after he started the last three games and went 1-for-12 with a homer, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Willi Castro will move to third base and bat second while Michael Taylor will start in center field and hit ninth.
numberFire’s models project Castro ($2,800) for 13.0 FanDuel points on Thursday and he's our third-best point-per-dollar value among batters. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have the best implied total (5.16) among teams not playing at Coors Field today. Medina has a poor 5.64 ERA and 4.81 xERA in his first MLB season, with a weak 21.7% strikeout rate and high 11.5% walk rate.
