Angels' C.J. Cron has a broken hand
The Los Angeles Angels placed first baseman C.J. Cron on the 15-day disabled list with a broken left hand.
Cron was hit in the hand by a pitch in the sixth inning of Friday's game, and he is headed straight for the disabled list. It's a shame too because not only is he having a fantastic season overall, he was scorching at the plate in his last eight games with a .364 average and 17 RBI's. Ji-Man Choi was recalled from Triple-A with Cron going to the DL.
Cron owns a .343 wOBA with 11 home runs and 50 RBI's over 287 plate appearances this season.
