Rangers' Josh Jung diagnosed with calf strain
Texas Rangers infielder Josh Jung has been diagnosed with a calf strain and will miss at least the next three weeks of Spring Training.
Jung suffered a calf strain during Spring Training last week. He is expected to be sidelined "about" three weeks. That timeline would put Jung on track to be available for Opening Day, but he will need to avoid any setbacks. Expect more information in the coming weeks.
In 515 plate appearances last season, Jung hit 23 homers, 75 runs, and 70 RBI with a 0.266 average and 0.781 OPS.
