Yankees' Oswald Peraza (shoulder) out 6-8 weeks
New York Yankees infielder Oswald Peraza (shoulder) will miss at least the next 6-8 weeks.
Peraza has been diagnosed with a sub-scapular strain in his right shoulder and will be sidelined for at least the next 6-8 weeks. The injury is not, at this time, expected to require surgery, but Peraza will be unavailable for a significant period of time.
In 191 plate appearances for the Yankees last season, Peraza recorded 2 homers, 14 RBI, 15 runs, and a 0.191 bating average.
