Marlins' Eury Perez (finger) not throwing 3-4 days
Miami Marlins starting pitcher Eury Perez (finger) will not throw for 3-4 days.
Perez left Wednesday's Grapefruit League start early with a fingernail issue. He isn't facing a long-term injury, but the shutdown likely means Perez won't be available for Opening Day.
Prior to this report, numberFire's models projected Perez to record a 4.83 ERA and 1.28 WHIP this season, with a 24.5 percent strikeout rate and 8.6 percent walk rate.
