Braves place Sean Murphy (oblique) on injured list
The Atlanta Braves placed catcher Sean Murphy on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a strained left oblique.
Murphy suffered the injury in Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Travis d'Arnaud will serve as the primary catcher until Murphy is able to return. The Braves recalled Chadwick Tromp from Triple-A Gwinnett to handle backup backstop duty. d'Arnaud will catch for Max Fried and hit eighth versus Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola on Saturday afternoon.
numberFire's models project d'Arnaud for 9.6 FanDuel points on Saturday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves' implied total is 4.20 and the game total (8.0) is on the lower end.
