Starling Marte hitting second Tuesday for Mets
New York Mets outfielder Starling Marte will start in right field and hit second on Tuesday against right-hander Reynaldo Lopez and the Atlanta Braves.
Marte hit fifth or sixth in the first 10 games of the season, but the Mets are mixing things up on Tuesday. Francisco Lindor will hit third and Pete Alonso will handle the cleanup role, while Francisco Alvarez takes a seat.
numberFire's models project Marte for 9.6 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Lindor is projected for 12.1 and Alonso is projected for 12.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total (4.18) is No. 15 in the majors today.
