Rangers' Corey Seager gets Monday off
The Texas Rangers did not include Corey Seager on their lineup for Monday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Seager appears to be getting a routine rest day as the Rangers kick off their series with the Tigers. Josh Smith will cover for him at shortstop while Ezequiel Duran plays third base and Josh Smith pitches in at first.
Seager is projected for 31 home runs, 78 runs, 86 RBI, 2 stolen bases, and a .291 average over 551 more plate appearances this season.
