Joey Meneses not in Nationals' lineup Monday
The Washington Nationals did not list Joey Meneses in their lineup for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Meneses will take a seat Monday while the Nationals have Eddie Rosario join the outfield and bat seventh.
Meneses showed promising power as a rookie, launching 13 home runs in 240 plate appearances. He struggled last year, though, hitting as many home runs in 657 plate appearances in 2023. He is still looking for his first home run of the 2024 season through 57 plate appearances.
