Mets' DJ Stewart sidelined again Tuesday
New York Mets designated hitter DJ Stewart is not in the lineup on Tuesday versus right-hander Jared Jones and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The left-handed hitting Stewart was held out against lefties the last two games, but the Mets are keeping him idle versus a right-hander on Tuesday. Francisco Alvarez will shift to DH in place of Tyrone Taylor, while Omar Narvaez will catch for Jose Quintana and hit ninth.
numberFire's models project Alvarez for 11.1 and Narvaez for 7.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total (3.81) is No. 23 in the majors today.
