Isaac Paredes idle Thursday for Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Isaac Paredes is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Griffin Canning and the Los Angeles Angels.
Paredes is currently enjoying a four-game hitting streak, but he will take a seat for just the second time this season. Curtis Mead will cover the hot corner on Thursday afternoon. Richie Palacios will start in right field and replace Paredes as the second batter in the lineup.
numberFire's models project Mead for 9.3 and Palacios for 11.5 FanDuel points on Thursday. Palacios has a $2,500 salary and is currently the third-best value on the board among hitters. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rays have the best implied total (4.59) in the majors today.
