Rays' Ben Rortvedt on bench again Thursday
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Ben Rortvedt is not in the lineup again for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Griffin Canning and the Los Angeles Angels.
What It Means:
Rortvedt was held out against lefties in three of the past four games, but the Rays will keep him out versus a right-hander on Thursday. Rene Pinto will catch for Ryan Pepiot and bat ninth again.
