Michael Busch on Cubs bench in Friday matinee
Chicago Cubs infielder Michael Busch is not in the lineup for Friday afternoon's series finale against left-hander A.J. Puk and the Miami Marlins.
Busch started against a southpaw for the first time this season a couple games ago, but the left-handed hitter will take a seat against Puk on Friday afternoon. Garrett Cooper will start on first base and bat seventh for the Cubs. Dansby Swanson will slide down and hit fifth.
numberFire's models project Cooper for 8.4 FanDuel points on Friday afternoon. Rivera has a $4,500 single-game slate salary, making him our third-best point-per-dollar value in the matinee. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Cubs currently have the third-best implied total (5.23) in the majors today.
