Indians believe Corey Kluber (blister) will be fine for Sunday

Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber (blister) is expected to be fine for his next scheduled start, according to pitching coach Mickey Callaway.

What It Means:

Kluber surrendered five runs over six innings in Monday's Opening Day start, but the belief is those struggles were caused by a blister and callus on his middle and pointer fingers. It sounds like a non-issue and he should be good to take the mound Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The right-hander turns 31 next Monday.

Over the remainder of the season, numberFire's models project Kluber to twirl a 3.15 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 26.4 strikeout percentage across 208 1/3 innings.
