Brewers keeping Jonathan Villar on bench in return from DL
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Jonathan Villar is not in the starting lineup against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday.
Villar was activated from the disabled list on Tuesday, but he'll only be available off the bench while the hot-hitting Eric Sogard stays on second base and leads things off for Milwaukee against right-hander Tim Adleman and the Reds. The 26-year-old Villar is batting only .213 this season, so he could be in danger of losing playing time moving forward.
numberFire's models project Sogard to score 12.3 FanDuel points on Tuesday while coming at a cost of $3,100. With an attractive implied total (4.71 runs) and park factor (1.031), he's someone worth considering as a DFS option versus Cincinnati.
