Mariners' Felix Hernandez (shoulder) to throw bullpen session this weekend
Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez is scheduled to throw a bullpen session this weekend, according to the Seattle Times' Ryan Divish.
Hernandez hasn't thrown since being diagnosed with bursitis in his right shoulder four weeks ago. If he's able to avoid setbacks on his journey back, Hernandez could return to the big league club as soon as mid-September.
Don't expect big things from Hernandez. We project him for a 1-1 record and 5.40 ERA in just 10 innings the rest of the season.
