James Harden's debut at point guard was a strong one, and he recorded a career-high 17 assists on opening night, as well as 34 points and 8 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. He saw a 37.6% usage rate in the game, a mark that beats the 32.4% he saw last year -- which already ranked third among players who averaged at least 10 minutes per game.

He is one of the best fantasy producers in the league, having ranked fourth in the league with 47.6 FanDuel points per game last season and 46.0 per game the season before that, and this expanded role in an uptempo Mike D'Antoni offense that played with a 100.4-possessions-per-48-minutes pace on opening night gives him a ceiling that very few players can match.
