In his rookie season, Emmanuel Mudiay really, really struggled. Transitioning from a year in the Chinese basketball league wasn't as seamless as many expected it to be for the highly-regarded prospect.

The Denver Nuggets point guard scored 12.8 points with 5.5 assists per night, but did so on 36.4% shooting and with an average of 3.2 turnovers. His player efficiency rating (PER) of 9.9 and his box plus-minus of -4.3 were not ideal.
