Blake Griffin will be undergoing knee surgery, which is expected to sideline him for a few weeks, giving Chris Paul a big boost in fantasy value.

In 44 games with Griffin on the shelf last season, Paul averaged 44.5 FanDuel points per game -- a significant jump of 7.7 FanDuel points per game more than the 36.8 he averaged with Griffin. Paul has also averaged a big 1.6 FanDuel points per minute with Griffin off the floor this season compared to 1.3 with him on, and we can expect his production to rise.

Paul should also benefit from a terrific matchup tonight against the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets rank 25th in defensive rating, play at the league's 9th-fastest pace and have allowed the 3rd-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards.
