The 8 Best NBA Performances From Last Week: Chef Curry Cooks the Clips
1. Stephen Curry vs. Los Angeles Clippers
This might tell you why I couldn't go completely all-in on Durant's big night. His teammate, Stephen Curry, went even bigger.
In the same amount of minutes (28), Chef Curry cooked up 43 points, with a dash of 9 rebounds and a pinch of 6 assists. He lit up the likes of Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton for 15 of 23 shooting and 9 of 15 from three. It was one of those Steph nights we've become so accustomed to seeing.
For taking 23 shots, and particularly 15 from long range, Curry's efficiency was off the charts. He earned a true shooting percentage of 86.8% while leading the team with a 40.3% usage rate. Despite a decrease in minutes (due to the blowout nature of the game), Curry was able to outproduce his teammate, not only in points but with a nERD of 73.51.
With the duo of Durant and Curry, that's a single-game nERD of 128.88.
Kevin Durant is a superstar that can control dominate games for 4 quarters. Steph Curry is a superstar that can end games in 3 quarters.

Needless to say, this is exactly what happened Saturday night. The poor Clippers didn't stand a chance.
