3. James Harden vs. Philadelphia 76ers
If you've been following along with this weekly review, you know that James Harden is as much of a mainstay here as anyone. Last week, he accompanied spots three and four. And here he is at three once again.
On Friday, in the Houston Rockets' 123-118 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Harden put up his second 50-point triple-double of the year. To be exact, the Beard posted 51 points, 13 assists, and 13 rebounds in 39 minutes on the floor. He connected on 16 of his 28 shot attempts, 6 of 11 from three, and 13 of 14 from the free throw line, where he so commonly makes his mark.
He required 41.3% of his team's possessions, but either way, Harden was getting the most out of each and every one of them. He ended the game with a true shooting of 74.6%, an offensive rating of 142.5 and a nERD of 68.03.
He was one of only three Houston players with a positive nERD score, and his 68.03 was five times greater than the next closest player.
