In 1987, in Michael Jordan's first ever MVP season, he averaged .308 win shares per 48 minutes. With an average 40.4 minutes a contest, His Airness created a total of 21.2 win shares on 35.0 points, 5.9 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game.

Despite such high-volume production across the board, Jordan was as efficient as ever, with a true shooting percentage of 60.3%. Taking 23.7 of his 24.4 field goal attempts from inside the arc, MJ posted a player efficiency rating (PER) of 31.7 -- the highest of his career.
