Marquese Chriss, PF, Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

When looking for a power forward, Blake Griffin always attracts a lot of attention due to his potential for monster scoring nights, especially on a short slate. For those looking to go the mid-range option, Julius Randle is coming off a triple-double and has a plus matchup versus the Suns.

Marquese Chriss also hasn't been the most consistent fantasy option, leaving him likely to be passed over by most.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite starting 57 games this season, the 19-year-old Chriss still averages under 20 minutes per night. That suppresses his overall numbers, which stand at just 8.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, good for only 15.2 fantasy points per night.

However, over his last 10 games, Chriss has managed to stay on the court for an average of 25.6 minutes. The extra court time has allowed for some big nights for the rookie. In those past 10 games, he has scored 20 or more FanDuel points four times, dropping over 30 fantasy points twice. That includes a 32.6-FanDuel-point explosion versus the Los Angeles Lakers, his opponent on Thursday.

The Suns-Lakers game is the projected highest scoring game of the night with an over/under of 230. The last time these two teams played, the Suns went off for a season-high 137 points against the pathetic Lakers D.

As bad as the Lakers are overall, their defense (or lack there of) versus power forwards puts them dead last in fantasy points allowed. One reason is that they allow opponents to swat away 5.2 shots per game, the sixth-most in the NBA.

That's a welcome stat for Chriss, who blocked five shots in a game just four days ago.
