Daily Fantasy Basketball Game Scripts to Target on 3/10/17
Khris Middleton, SF, Milwaukee Bucks
FanDuel Price: $6,800
A torn hamstring has limited Khris Middleton to only 11 games played this season. After missing the season's first three-plus months, the Milwaukee Bucks have taken it slow by easing the small forward back into action. He was on a minutes restriction and sat out back-to-backs, but as of March 1, it appears the reins are off.
Over his last five games, the 25-year-old has averaged over 30 minutes per night and was even allowed to play on consecutive nights. Middleton has rewarded the Bucks' faith by averaging 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. His worst fantasy night resulted in 27.9 FanDuel points and overall, he has averaged 33.4 fantasy points.
The increase in production has caused a jump in his price tag, but his matchup on Friday with the Indiana Pacers -- who allow the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards -- will make him worth rostering.
While the overall projected point total of 208 and is one of the lower over/unders of the night, history tells us to take the over as the two teams have averaged a combined 224.0 points in their two previous meetings this season.
Even using the Vegas line, the Bucks have an implied total of 106.5. Over the last two seasons, when the Bucks have scored that much, Middleton averages 36.7 FanDuel points.
