9. 1980-81

At a more tender age of 24, Bird was only slightly better. He averaged .160 win shares per 48 and totaled 10.8 win shares, having participated in all 82 games.

Across 39.5 minutes per game, Bird averaged 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists in his second professional season. He would go to his second straight All-Star Game before winning the first of three NBA titles.
