Each NBA Franchise's Best Regular Season Performance Since 2000
New York Knicks
In Carmelo Anthony's second full season with the New York Knicks, the team went 54-28 and accumulated a nERD of 64.5 in the 2012-13 regular season. Their offense was the third-most efficient in the NBA while leading the league in three-pointers made per game.
Naturally, Anthony was the team's leading scorer, averaging 28.7 points. He was complemented by J.R. Smith, Amar'e Stoudemire and Raymond Felton, who totaled 46.2 points between them. But, in spite of all their firepower, the Knicks won just a single playoff series before losing to the Indiana Pacers in the second round.
