3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 10/24/17
Domantas Sabonis, PF/C, Indiana Pacers
DraftKings Salary: $4,600
Domantas Sabonis rebounded from a disappointing 15-DraftKings-point outing in his first start of the year with a 40.5-point output on Saturday. Myles Turner is out once again, so Sabonis will draw another start against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His price has been bumped up $1,000 since Saturday, but he still needs just 23 DraftKings points to reach value.
While another 40-plus points shouldn't be expected, it shouldn't be tough for Sabonis to hit value. Minnesota has a physical frontcourt, and Taj Gibson and Gorgui Dieng are both quality defenders, but Karl-Anthony Towns was far from that last season. He ranked dead last among 60 qualified centers in defensive real plus-minus.
There is slight blowout concern here, as Minnesota comes into this one listed as 11-point favorites. As long as it remains competitive, though, Sabonis should be looking at around 30 minutes of playing time and is a good bet to reach value at his price tag.
