All signs point to Dwight Howard suiting up, so that keeps Cody Zeller in a backup role and as a tournament-play only tonight. What makes him so intriguing as a cheap center is Howard's health. The Hornets' starting center is still dealing with pain in his foot and might be limited as a result. That's where Zeller comes in.

At this point in time, our models project Howard to basically play his full allotment of minutes, at 30.6. But last time out he was limited to less than 28, which allowed Zeller to log 22. Tonight, Howard's workload could be limited even more and Zeller could see that much more of an increase. If his 16-point, 9-rebound performance on Sunday is any indication, Zeller could certainly reach value in a backup role -- especially facing the New York Knicks, who rank in the bottom-5 against centers.
