3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/30/17
John Collins, PF/C, Atlanta Hawks
DraftKings Salary: $5,500
John Collins has been a fantasy monster on a per-minute basis this season, and with the Atlanta Hawks dealing with a slew of frontcourt injuries, he is finally getting his chance to show what he can do with extended minutes. The daily fantasy community was infatuated with the rookie after he averaged 37.4 DraftKings in his first two games of 35-plus minutes, but the hype train has slowed a bit as of late. He put up 23.25 DraftKings in 24 minutes on Friday, which he followed with a 9-point dud in a blowout loss on Saturday.
Hopefully those performances keep his ownership somewhat subdued tonight, because Collins could absolutely crush in this spot. Atlanta will be without both Dewayne Dedmon and Mike Muscala, which will open up as many minutes as Collins can handle against a Cleveland Cavaliers squad ranked 19th in rebounding rate and 26th in defensive efficiency. Collins put up 33.8 DraftKings points in just 24 minutes against Cleveland ealier this season, and he should have no trouble reaching the 27.5 DraftKings point mark that his salary requires of him. He is a strong play in all formats tonight.
