NBA Market Share Report: Enjoying the Run With Kris Dunn
Bent on Kent Bazemore
It may not be a situation of consistency, but for now the Kent Bazemore train has made for a decent ride. He’s averaging nearly 39 FanDuel points per game over his last five, yet his salary has hovered right around the $5,800 mark, making for a nearly seven-times average value over the last week or so.
He’s also shown some nice versatility, contributing as both a distributor (more than 5 assists per game over his last 8) and a smooth criminal (2 steals per game over the same span), while also hustling on the glass.
Considering he’s hit at least seven-times value in more than half of his games over the last two weeks, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Bazemore’s salary run past the $6,000 mark and settle there until he cools down. However, if we’re using recent form and acknowledging a skill set that allows him to produce in multiple categories, Bazemore remains a solid play at $6,500 or less.
The Hawks are on the road tonight in Oklahoma City, followed by a home stand against the Mavericks tomorrow night and the Wizards on Wednesday.
