3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 12/26/17
Tyreke Evans, PG/SG, Memphis Grizzlies
DraftKings Salary: $8,600
Tyreke Evans has also seen a considerable price spike, as he and teammate Marc Gasol ($8,700) come into this priced significantly higher than usual. That shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given their recent form and the excellent matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Evans is averaging 45.1 DraftKings points over his past four games, which is enough to hit value (5 fantasy points per $1,000 in salary) -- even at his elevated price tag.
He'll square off with a Suns team that combines the league's second-quickest pace with the third-worst defensive efficiency, creating possibly the most fantasy-friendly environment possible for their opponents. As such, it should come as no surprise that the Suns have allowed more DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards than any team in the league.
It is also worth noting that when the Memphis Grizzlies have been forced to get out and run this season, Evans has been far and away their best transition scorer. He has averaged twice as many transition points per game as the next-highest Grizzlies player and should thrive in this uptempo environment. The price tag is a little high, but Evans has the upside to easily pay it off. He is worth a look in any format on a slate with few appealing top-end options.
