As you've probably become accustomed to hearing here, there just aren't many low-priced point guard options on tonight's slate. Barring an injury news, the best options below $5,000 are backups and guys splitting time. Of those, Patty Mills rises to the top because of his matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.

In Wednesday's road tilt, the San Antonio Spurs are currently 7.5-point favorites and have an implied total of 106.25 points. They're poised to take advantage of Brooklyn's up-tempo pace (4th with 100 possessions per 48) and middle-of-the-road defense (16th in defensive rating) in this one -- and if Mills gets 20-plus minutes, he could be looking at easy points.

So far this season, the Nets have allowed the most FanDuel points per game (49.7) to the point guard position. That's comprised of 23.6 points, 2.3 steals, and 9.1 assists, the main areas where Mills gets his production from. If you're paying down to fit in a stud elsewhere, you could do much worse than Mills.
