With a lengthy list of elite fantasy centers on tap, paying up at center can't be a bad move for Wednesday's slate. As we know with daily fantasy, though, you have to be a little contrarian to try and take down a tournament. For tonight, enter Robin Lopez at center.
Not a lot of people are going to be on the offensively-handicapped RoLo. The Warriors are fifth in defensive rating and are 9.5-point favorites on the road, but it's worth noting that the Bulls haven't lost a home game by more than nine points since the return of Nikola Mirotic. They've been competitive in the majority of their games lately and should keep this within reach, whether it's inside or outside the spread. A close game should keep Lopez in play.
Why Lopez, though? Over the last five games, the Warriors have a rebounding rate of just 48.8% and rank 28th with a defensive rebounding rate of 72.9% in that span. Lopez is second (to Bobby Portis) on the team in offensive rebounding rate (8.3%) and, for his career, grabs 12% of available offensive rebounds. With his size, he could take full advantage of Zaza Pachulia and the inexperienced Jordan Bell, which is why he's a top-five point-per-dollar play tonight.
