3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/30/18

Anthony Davis' salary is way up, and that's no surprise after he went off for 59.4 FanDuel points in his first game without DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season. That gives Brow at least 59 FanDuel points in five of his last eight contests, and with Cousins sidelined for the foreseeable future, he'll continue to show incredible consistency and upside.

Davis played 40.6 minutes in that first game without Boogie, and the New Orleans Pelicans were also never shy about leaning on Cousins for big minutes when Davis was out, playing him for 37.1 minutes per game. Davis is averaging a huge 39.3 minutes per game in January, and the Pelicans' lack of frontcourt depth means we can expect him to be among the league leaders in playing time for the rest of the year.

He also stands to see a big bump in both volume and per-minute efficiency. Comparing his minutes with Cousins on and off the court this season, he sees his usage rate jump from 25.9% to 32.0%, along with a jump of 14.0% to 20.4% in rebound rate. That has led his FanDuel points per minute to go from 1.25 to an outstanding 1.73.

The Sacramento Kings are a terrific matchup, ranking last in defensive rating and 28th in rebound rate while allowing top-four fantasy numbers to both power forwards and centers. This all makes Davis an easy pick for the day's top fantasy scorer.
