Tonight, the Dallas Mavericks will be without Dennis Smith (and will be without him for multiple games) and J.J. Barea (left rib) isn't at 100% for a matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. Wesley Matthews is also out, so that leaves a big hole in the backcourt.

Enter Yogi Ferrell.

This year, Ferrell's played an inconsistent role behind the likes of the three above players. But in his last six games, he's gotten more run, seeing an average of 31.7 minutes with three games of at least 32 minutes and none below 28. Given the Mavericks' injuries, Ferrell should continue to see a healthy amount of minutes tonight.

The matchup couldn't be much better. As the Mavs take to the road, they'll face a Pelicans team ranked third on the year in pace and in the middle-of-the-pack defensively. Since the break, the Pels have been an even better fantasy opponent with a pace of 104.5 possessions per 48. That's 5.74 more possessions than the slow-paced Mavericks are averaging through the last 12 games. Expect an uptick in production for Ferrell.
