3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/3/18
James Harden, SG, Houston Rockets
Price: $11,000
James Harden's price-tag is pretty tame tonight, thanks in part to a quiet night Sunday against San Antonio. But it is also depressed because of some unexciting fantasy performances stemming from blowouts and games where Harden has seen limited minutes.
Even with those down games mixed in, the Beard has been producing really well. He has topped 55 FanDuel points in five of his last eight games, hitting 60-plus twice in that stretch. He leads the league in FanDuel points per minute this season (1.50), and with at least 36 minutes played in three of his last five games, there's no reason to worry about his production moving forward. His reduced salary creates plenty of value, even in a tough matchup against Washington.
This spot could get even better for Harden, as Chris Paul (leg) is being listed as questionable after missing each of the Rockets' last two games. Houston has all but locked up first place in the West, so don't expect them to play CP3 if they believe he's less than 100% healthy.
Harden has seen a bump in both minutes (34.8 to 36.9) and FanDuel points (52.2 to 55.5) per game in contests without Paul this season, and he goes from a good play to a great one if the point man sits again tonight.
