5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/6/18
Kevin Huerter, SG, Atlanta Hawks
FanDuel Price: $3,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 23.5
Projected FanDuel Value: 6.53
This short four-game slate is somewhat unique in that there are a couple obvious cheap plays. Both of them come via the absence of Atlanta Hawks starting small forward Taurean Prince, who has now been ruled out for Tuesday's clash in Charlotte. Prince was injured on Saturday, which allowed rookie Kevin Huerter to see 29 minutes of floor time.
With the Hawks in the tank, there's no reason for them to not play the young and versatile wing man, so Huerter should get minutes again. And if he does, expect him to produce. In Saturday's game, he turned in 12 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound and 1 steal, totaling 19.7 FanDuel points at the site minimum of $3,500.
He's up only $100, and his matchup isn't bad. The Hornets have struggled to defend the wing, ranking 20th against both shooting guards and small forwards in terms of FanDuel points allowed per 48. We project Huerter for just over 26 minutes, which should be enough to reach five-times value in a game with a slate-high 231.5 over/under.
