Rudy Gobert, C, Utah Jazz
DraftKings Price: $7,500
Centers haven't had the easiest time facing the Philadelphia 76ers this season. With the imposing Joel Embiid down low, the Sixers are giving up the ninth-fewest DraftKings points to the position, according to FantasyPros. Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, however, isn't your ordinary center.
Gobert enters tonight's contest with career highs in points (15.9), rebounds (13.1), and steals (1.1). If he can keep up his 71.8% field goal percentage (also a career high), he would finish with the second-best shooting season in league history. The Stilt averaged 72.7% in 1972-73.
Gobert has scored at least 35 DraftKings points in three of his past four games against the Sixers, including a 46.75-DraftKings-point effort in his last go against them. In what is expected to be a competitive game tonight, there is little reason he can't push that to four in five.
In fact, we project him to do so. We have him modeled for 37.5 DraftKings points, and while those aren't Davis numbers, his projected 5.0 DraftKings points per $1,000 is the highest-projected value among the five highest-priced centers.
